Anna Soler-Pont
Executive Producer at Pontas Films and Screenwriter
Anna Soler-Pont co-authored the novel Traces of Sandalwood and is the screenwriter and executive producer of its adaptation. She is an annual presence at the main international film markets (European Film Market in Berlin, Marché du Film in Cannes and American Film Market in Los Angeles). She was also involved in the conception of, development and production of the children’s animated TV series Asha, and co-produced Daughter of Ganges, the documentary film directed by Jordi Llompart.
Maria Ripoll
Director
Maria Ripoll studied Directing and Scriptwriting at UCLA and the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Her first feature film Lluvia en los zapatos, released as Twice Upon a Yesterday (1996) in the US, starred Penélope Cruz and obtained the Grand Audience Awards at the Sitges and Seattle Film Festivals, and was nominated for a Goya award for Best New Director. In 2001 Maria directed Tortilla Soup, produced by Samuel Goldwin Studios, which was shot in Los Angeles and won nine Alma Awards nominations. Shs subsequently directed the acclaimed films Utopía (2003) and My Life in 65’ (2006). She has directed high-profile TV advertisements in Barcelona, Los Angeles and Mexico City. Last year she directed and produced the documentary Cromosoma Cinco (2012), an official selection of the 2013 Malaga Film Festival.
Josep Amorós
Production Manager
Josep Amorós has worked as Production Manager in more than 30 films during his 15 years of professional experience. He has worked, among others, for El maquinista (2004), Blancanieves (2012) and Los sin nombre (1999). Recently nominated for the Goya Award, and winner of a Gaudí Award as Best Production Manager for Los últimos días (2013).
Raquel Fernández
Director of Photography
Hailing from Madrid, where she graduated from the Madrid Film School, she is currently one of the few female cinematographers in Europe. Raquel has been working as a professional Cinematographer for the past 20 years and now resides between Los Angeles and New York. She has shot documentaries, features, commercials, and music videos all over the world. Selected credits include multi-award winning films such as A fallible Girl (Conrad Clark, 2013), Four Dead Batteries (Hiram Martinez, 2004) and The Legacy (Andres Faucher, 2009).
Eva Valiño
Sound
Eva Valiño studied Sound in Cuba and has worked as Sound designer since 15 years. She won a Goya Award for Te doy mis ojos (2003), and has been recently nominated for another Goya Award for Caníbal (2013), she has worked in Katmandú, un espejo en el cielo (2011), Yo también (2009), Retorno a Hansala (2008), among others.
Anna Pujol Tauler
Production Designer
Born in Barcelona, Anna Pujol has worked as Set Decorator and Art Director for films, music videos, TV commercials and series, over the past 10 years. She has worked in Katmandú, un espejo en el cielo (2011) film shot in Nepal, multi awarded film Pa Negre (2009), and short film La Huida (2010) among others.

Luci Lenox is the Casting Director for the Barcelona parts. Among many others films, Luci has worked on Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (Aoya Akhtar, 2011), Buried (Rodrigo Cortés, 2010), Vicky Cristina Barcelona (Woody Allen, 2008) and Perfume (Tom Twyker, 2006).
Vishal Gupta is the Casting Director for the Mumbai parts. He has worked for Four Lions Films, BBC Worldwide and Rose Movies.

Originally from Galicia but currently living in Los Angeles, Zeltia Montes has been nominated as Best New Composer for Hollywood´s International Film Critics Music Awards for her work on the film Vilamor.

Production Company
Since 2002 Pontas has developed numerous audiovisual projects for television and theatre, from original content (a novel, a script, an idea) to its final production. Among their projects is the successful animated TV series Asha, which enjoyed a 52 episode run (co-produced with Cromosoma, Televisió de Catalunya and Televisión Española). A literary agency since 1992, Pontas has sold many of the novels it represents for adaptation. Among many others, Pontas sold the rights of Spanish author Susana Fortes’ novel Waiting for Robert Capa to Forward Pass, the company of Hollywood producer and director Michael Mann, teaming with Columbia Pictures (film project currently in development). Traces of Sandalwood will be the first feature film produced by Pontas.
